BW - 224
Squats - 335X5
Press - 132.5X5
Deadlift - 335X5
Everything went well and felt strong. Press was probably the weakest of the three. 335X5 matches my previous 5 rep PR on Deadlift.

Texas Method Team Training. Week 9. Volume Day
BW - 226
Squats - 305X5X5
Press -
115X5
127.5X5
122.5X3X5
Deadlift - 240X10X2
Squats went pretty well. Technique felt a little off here and there. Not sure if it was focus, fatigue, intensity, or other. Didn't get a full night's sleep the night before.
Press was a shit show because we had the wrong weight written down and so the first set was too light. Then I mis-loaded one side of the bar on the second set. Got straightened out for the final three sets, and they were fine.
Speed deads are taking increased mental focus to do correctly as the intensity goes up. My takeaway this day was squeezing the bar. I'm pulling these all double-overhand, and I could feel the difference in how strong the reps felt if I bore down on my grip as hard as I could. Something to try and carry-over to mixed-grip, high-intensity sets.

Texas Method Team Training. Week 9. Intensity Day
BW - 224
Squats - 330X5
Bench - 202.5X5
Deadlift - 330X5
Exhausted from a long, physical weekend with little sleep. My second low-sleep weekend in a row.
Squats went well all things considered. Not quite as powerful as they've been, but we'll see how things go next week after I get some regular sleep.
This was my heaviest bench since before my first meet back in March '16. And it was heavy. RPE 9.5, knowhumsayin'?
Deadlifts went pretty well, but I was out of gas.

Texas Method Team Training. Week 8. Intensity Day
BW - 224
Squat - 325X5
Press - 130X5
Deadlift - 325X5
Great session. After spending 3 days in NYC and getting no sleep, I delayed this session by a day and trained alone, and I'm glad I delayed. Rest is just such a difference maker for me these days. The Squats are still particularly strong, but Press and Deadlift felt really good as well.

Texas Method Team Training. Week 7. Volume Day
BW - 224
Squats - 295X5X5
Press - 120X5X5
Deadlift - 225X10X2
Sick as a dog all week. I got through this exercise on Dayquil, half-caf coffee, and will-power. At the end, coach decided to not go up on Speed Deads, and back-off a touch to 225. Totally fine with that.

Texas Method Team Training. Week 7. Intensity Day
BW - 224
Squats - 320X5
Bench - 200X5
Deadlift - 320X5
Squats are still feeling the best of the 3.
Bench felt pretty good on this day, as every rep felt well executed. Bench is very dependent on that for me at these weights.
A lot of confidence rolling on Deads as well. It doesn't feel as "easy" as Squats at this weight, but I've embraced the idea that they never will, and I step to the bar expecting a fight. That's helped a lot at this point.
Oh, and 320X5 on both Squats and Deads is a PR since my 1st meet.

Texas Method Team Training. Week 6. Recovery Day
BW = 223
Squats - 245X2X5
Press - 95X3X5
Chins - BWX3, 2, 2, 1
Pull-Downs - X10
Coach adjusted the weight a bit for recovery day. A little more on squats, and little less on Press.
I'm trying to commit to more strict chin-up form. I warmed up with some pulldowns, and then these were all done coming to full elbow extension at the bottom. Not a ton of volume so I hit a back-off set of pull-downs afterwards. Unfortunately, I'll be missing this work-out for the next two weeks as I'm out of town for consecutive weekends.

Texas Method Team Training. Week 6. Volume Day
BW - 224
Squat - 290X5X5
Bench - 180X5X5
Deadlift - 230X10X2
Despite operating on only 5 hours of sleep, Squat and Bench went pretty well. By the time I got to Speed Deads, I was having trouble getting focused and the initial set suffered. I got quiet, and centered myself better between sets, and the final sets were all fast as shit.
